Haremi launches Diversity, Equity and Inclusion checking service

  • James Voûte

At Haremi, we recognise the need for educational resources to be accessible, inclusive and representative of the society we live in. Our employees undertake training and participate in debate on our dedicated Diversity and Inclusion Microsoft Teams channel to increase their DEI awareness and knowledge, so they can reflect this in their work. As one of the first signatories of the UN Sustainable Development Goals Publishers Compact, we take seriously the positive impact we can have on wider society.

Because of this, we're pleased to announce we've added DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) checking for learning resources to our range of services. Our prices are all-inclusive and are based on a simple page rate, or an equivalent rate for other media.

Our Editors and Instructional Designers adhere to DEI guidelines provided by our clients and those we have developed internally, and we partner with an extensive network of DEI professionals to offer review and auditing services.

We can provide this service either for material currently in production or to ensure backlist content promotes diversity, equality and inclusivity. This applies to both printed content and digital resources. We project manage the entire review process ensuring that it is cost effective and delivers a high-quality outcome our clients can trust. Additionally, we offer editorial services to implement any necessary changes for a complete end-to-end solution.

Please use our contact form to discuss your DEI requirements, or email us at info@haremi.co.uk.
