Working at Haremi

We’re always looking for talented, collaborative people with a flair for content and a passion for education. Does this sound like you? If so, come and work for a growing, employee-owned company that’s making a difference to the lives of teachers and learners everywhere, and takes its wider social responsibility seriously, too.

As part of our team and a co-owner of the company, you can advance your career whilst enjoying a range of benefits such as flexible working, great online training, wellbeing support and social initiatives. Haremi is committed to promoting and ensuring equality and we value diversity. Our working environment is a friendly and supportive one, and we actively promote a culture of learning and development, so we’re sure you’ll love it here.

We are not just employees at Haremi, we are a team, a support network, and a force to be reckoned with. We are so proud of our people, our biggest asset. We might be slightly biased, but we truly believe we have the most enthusiastic, driven, proud, and reliable colleagues in the business.

Work life balance is a priority: we love being at work but we also love being parents/joggers/cyclists/yoga bunnies/socialisers/knitters/artists/bakers (delete as appropriate) so we make sure everyone also has the time to do the things they love. We offer part-time roles, hybrid working, and flexitime. Working part of your week at home is an option, but our beautiful central Cheltenham offices are also a great place to be, with lots of collaboration, learning and cake!

We don't have set desks in our office, nor do we have offices with closed doors. Everyone moves around and choses where to sit based on their day. That might be with your project team, team leader, or in a quiet corner for extra concentration.

It’s important to us that everyone has a voice. We have a Business Improvement Forum who represent everyone. They meet regularly to look at ways to improve the way we do things and drive new initiatives. We are constantly seeking opinions and views through our suggestion box, surveys and polls and we learn from the experts in our teams.

We’re also constantly striving for greatness. Whether that’s through making connections with the end users of our products (teachers and learners), training and development, sharing the latest industry news, contributing to our online forums, attending exhibitions, or just the quality of the homemade cakes in the kitchen, we’re always hungry to learn.

Our biggest benefit is joining an employee-owned business. From Day One you are joining a company who puts employees at the heart of what we do. All our decisions are made in the best interests of our employee-owners, and the long-term ambitions of the company have incredible tax-free financial benefits too.

It’s equally important to us that our extra activities align to the diverse interests of our colleagues, so we offer lots to everyone. From sports and fitness, to baking, to book club and curry nights. If you like to plan as well as attend fun events, you can join our social committee!

Our Employee Assistance Programme supports all employees and their direct families with their wellbeing and free legal and financial advice. We encourage all our team members to increase their awareness of physical and health awareness by sharing experiences, ideas and tips with each other.

We love to give back too. We donate thousands of pounds to charities in our local community each year, as well as charities that support young people worldwide.
