2006: Haremi is founded by Paul Farnworth, to create great educational content for learners everywhere. 2007: We help to design the first (of many) digital learning platforms – this one was for Oxford University Press. Our first employee joins the team (and we go on to recruit over 100 more!). 2009: At the Gloucestershire Business Awards we win Best Use of Digital Technology. We define and deliver our first system architecture for authoring adaptable and reusable learning objects. 2010: We produce learning and teaching content for the UK's top 5 educational publishers; 2012: We bring the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics to life in the classroom by producing a STEM website for an Olympic Partner. 2013: Book production and print editorial are added to our growing list of services. 2014: We create the number one most downloaded paid revision app. 2016: We produce 46 printed study guides and 154 hours of e-learning for the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. 2017: Our first phase of customer satisfaction surveys show we have a World Class Net Promoter Score of 74 (and have maintained that ever since); We become the sole supplier to Pamoja Education for International Baccalaureate course development. 2019: We win Small Business of the Year (out of more than 200,000 businesses) at the Gloucestershire Business Awards. 2020: We go global, producing learning content for organisations across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North and South America. We help the UK Department for Education produce 4.5 million free copies of a reference book celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. 2021: We become an employee-owned business, and award all employees an equal share in the business. 2022: We receive our Cyber Essentials certification. 2023: We exhibit at the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Show for the first time. 2024: Our database of specialist authors and subject matter experts reaches 1000. We move to Minster Exchange, a newly built and highly sustainable office in the heart of Cheltenham town centre. 2025: Approaching 20 consecutive years of growth.
