Haremi produced the digital components for the Beyond for Switzerland series, an adaptation of an existing course to fulfil the Swiss Lehrplan 21 requirements and meet other local needs. This 4-level course (A1, A2, A2+ and B1) was also mapped to the CEFR and international exams. Haremi’s tasks included content scoping of each unit, content editing, updating audio files, and translating word lists and the grammar database into German.
Haremi was commissioned by Pearson Education’s MEA group to create storyboards for professional development courses for Maths and Science teachers in Saudi Arabia. We designed a series of 360 online CPD modules for educators, converting written manuscripts into engaging screens of interactive content, assessment, animations and videos. Over the course of 2 years, we developed over 50,000 pages of storyboards, whilst adhering closely to technical guidelines. The courses were translated into Arabic and delivered on time and within budget.
Haremi was commissioned to support the development of a series of Student Books and Teacher Guides suitable for the curriculum in Ethiopia. The books covered 10 subjects and were targeted at Grades 11 and 12. Haremi ensured the content reflected the syllabus, best practice pedagogy, with clear use of language (up to CEFR B2 level). The timeframe was very tight (two months from start to finish of the project) as we had to meet in-country printing deadlines, but we were still able to adapt to retrospective changes that the Ethiopian Ministry of Education made to the project brief and scope.
