Our Company

Haremi is a global learning company based in Cheltenham UK, with a network of customers in Europe, Asia, Africa, and North and South America.

Our customers are educational publishers, awarding bodies, employers, academic institutions, professional membership bodies and EdTech companies. They all have one thing in common – helping people make progress in their lives through learning. We design and produce great learning content for our customers that makes that happen.

Our in-house team of more than 50 employees delivers hundreds of projects each year, of all shapes and sizes. They’re complemented by our expansive team of technical and subject matter expert partners, allowing us to create all types of content in any subject area.

We offer lots of functional value to our customers, such as faster lead times, simplified processes and greater flexibility. We provide them with financial value by increasing their sales, improving their margins and diversifying their revenue streams. But of greatest value is the improved learner performance that comes from us helping them to deliver accurate, engaging and highly effective learning content.

A dictionary entry for the word haremi: hah-ruh-mee. noun. the UK's leading educational content services provider

20years of Haremi

Twenty years ago, when Paul Farnworth set up Haremi from his kitchen table, he may not have imagined that it would become an award-winning business, owned by its employees and thriving in a rapidly changing education market. What he did start with was a simple belief: that educational content could be done better. Clearer, more learner-focused, and built through genuine collaboration.

What began as a small group of specialists has grown into the UK's leading educational content services provider, trusted by some of the world's leading education brands. But growth has never been the point on its own. What matters to us is how we work, who we work with, and why we do what we do.

Haremi was founded on the belief that education has the power to change lives, and that those creating learning content deserve to be supported and valued. From the very beginning, we brought together experienced authors, editors, project managers, and digital experts who shared a commitment to quality and collaboration.

Rather than build a traditional supplier model, Haremi grew primarily by word of mouth as a network, with skilled people working together with shared standards, mutual respect and a focus on doing the right thing for learners and customers alike.

Over two decades, Haremi has evolved alongside educational publishing itself. From CD-ROMs to online learning ecosystems; from individual books to integrated publishing programmes; from local projects to global delivery; and from traditional commissioning models to long-term strategic partnerships.

We've not just supported educational publishers. We've helped deliver thousands of learning content projects for schools, universities, awarding organisations, professional learning providers and digital learning platforms. Through it all, our role has remained constant: helping organisations navigate complexity, deliver at pace, and maintain quality even when the pressures are high.

Today, Haremi combines scale with care – large enough to deliver major programmes, yet personal enough to understand the needs of each project and every organisation we support.

For customers, twenty years of Haremi means experience you can rely on, teams you can trust, and a partner who genuinely understands education. We bring stability, insight and pragmatism, helping you deliver complex programmes with confidence.
