We supply our services diligently, skilfully and with integrity, and always respect our clients' intellectual property rights.
Haremi recognises the value each client places on their intellectual property in work created by us for them. We assign intellectual property in work created by us to each client, unless specifically stated otherwise at the start of a project or contract. At the start of a project or contract, Haremi is happy to enter into a written agreement concerning who will own, control and use the intellectual property rights of all work created.
Haremi normally waives moral rights for their work to each client, but would appreciate being identified as the author or creator of the original work within any commercial product, its documentation or promotional material if deemed appropriate by the client.
Haremi undertakes not to disclose to any client or third party, any information or knowledge that is not already in the public domain, that may infringe on another client's intellectual property rights. Wherever possible, Haremi will allocate different personnel to work on any client project that is of a similar nature to another client's project.
Haremi takes the following additional measures to protect all work created for each client:
- all sensitive information is kept on password-protected areas of our systems
- up-to-date anti-virus and firewall software is installed on all of our systems
- our systems are backed up regularly and backups are safely stored off-site
- all client work, deliverables and source code is securely archived, in line with
the Data Protection Act, for the benefit of our clients.
