Having been recommended to ABE, Haremi were asked to respond to a proposal looking for a publishing partner, that could help ABE develop a range of course guides and revision products to support the courses and exams they deliver globally. They were looking for a company that had vast experience of creating educational content, with excellent author relationships and a flexible and pragmatic approach.
After the successful tender process, we found new authors and subject experts and created a number of study guides, enhancing the design to make them more engaging, and we even found cost-effective printers.
Working with ABE’s project manager, we were supplied with the syllabi for the study guides which we used to create the author brief. After checking samples and ensuring authors were following the brief, the manuscripts were peer-reviewed and then went through the full editorial development process. We worked closely with the typesetter to ensure the content was presented in an engaging and logical learning order that enabled the learner to make the necessary links by following good learning theory.
The first (prioritised) study guide was delivered within 4 months of receiving the syllabus, with the remaining guides following in a batched approach soon after.
